The Executive Chairman of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service, Hon. Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, has congratulated the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Francis Orohwedor Oborevwori, on the occasion of his 3rd anniversary in office.
In his congratulatory message, Ighrakpata described the governor’s 3 years as a period of purposeful leadership, steady progress, and people-centered governance under the MORE Agenda. He noted that the administration has made significant strides in infrastructure, education, healthcare, youth empowerment, and urban renewal across the state.
“Governor Oborevwori has demonstrated that leadership is about impact, consistency, and service to the people. From roads and bridges to schools and hospitals, his administration has touched lives in both urban and rural communities, restoring confidence in governance,” Ighrakpata said.
He commended the governor’s commitment to fiscal discipline, inclusive development, and maintaining peace and stability in Delta State, adding that these have created an enabling environment for economic growth and investment.
Ighrakpata also acknowledged the governor’s support for revenue-generating agencies like the DSIRS, stating that it has strengthened the state’s capacity to fund critical projects without overburdening the people.
“On behalf of my family and the entire management and staff of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service, I celebrate you on this milestone. May God grant you continued wisdom, strength, and good health to take Delta State to greater heights,” he prayed.
He urged Deltans to continue supporting the administration’s vision for a more prosperous and united state.
