…As Dafinone Visits Party Leaders in Uvwie.
The Leader of the OSU Political Forum, Hon Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, has called on party faithful, Sons and Daughters of Uvwie Kingdom, to give massive support and votes to all candidates of All Progressive Congress (APC) in the forthcoming 2027 general elections.
Ighrakpata made the call when leaders of the APC in Uvwie Local Government Area received the Senator representing Delta Central, Sen. Ede Dafinone, during a consultative visit to party leaders in the council area.
He urged the people of Uvwie to stand solidly behind the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator Ede Dafinone for the Senate, Hon. Ramson Onoyake for the House of Representatives, and Hon. Emakpor for the Delta State House of Assembly, Uvwie Constituency.
According to Ighrakpata, the collective support of the people is essential to ensuring victory for all APC candidates at the polls.
He commended Senator Ede Dafinone for demonstrating capacity, commitment and effective representation since assuming office, stressing that his performance and commitment to the development of Delta Central have positioned him as a candidate deserving of re-election in 2027.
Ighrakpata further called on APC members and supporters across Uvwie to remain united and mobilise massively for the party, noting that a strong and united political structure would be critical to securing victory for all APC candidates.
He expressed confidence that, with the support of the people and effective grassroots mobilisation, the APC would record a resounding victory across Uvwie and Delta Central in the 2027 elections.
Earlier, the Chairman of the APC in Uvwie Local Government Area, Mr. Sylvester Oghenevwede, while welcoming Senator Dafinone, pledged the unalloyed support of the party leadership and members in Uvwie to all APC candidates in the forthcoming elections.
Oghenevwede assured the Senator that the party structure in Uvwie remained committed to strengthening its grassroots mobilisation and ensuring that APC candidates receive the necessary support to emerge victorious in 2027.
Also speaking, the Delta Central Chairman of the APC, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, called on all political appointees, party leaders, stakeholders and faithful to take ownership of the party's mobilisation efforts and work collectively towards delivering their respective wards to the APC.
Akpeki urged party members to remain committed, united and focused, stressing the importance of protecting the party's votes from the polling units to the collation centres.
He expressed confidence that the APC would emerge victorious in the 2027 elections, urging party leaders and members to commence early mobilisation and ensure that the party's structures remain active across all wards and units.
The consultative visit by Senator Dafinone provided an opportunity for the Senator to engage with party leaders and stakeholders in Uvwie, strengthen the party's internal structures and seek their continued support ahead of the 2027 general elections.
