The Executive Chairman of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service and National Chairman of the OSU Political Forum, Hon. Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, has charged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to remain united and work in synergy to ensure victory for the party in 2027.

Ighrakpata gave the charge while addressing party leaders, ward chairmen and party faithfuls at a critical stakeholders' meeting held in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State.

According to him, if the party must achieve victory in 2027, members must come together in unity and look beyond individual imperfections.

“If we want to achieve victory come 2027, we must come together and be united as a party. Let’s look beyond imperfection and look ahead to the victory of the party,” Ighrakpata stated.

He stressed that the gains of winning 5/5 could not be overemphasised, hence the need for collective effort and synergy.

“The gain of winning 5/5 can't be overemphasized. Hence, let's work in synergy to deliver all candidates. Let's remove individual issues and work together to deliver massively for the party (APC),” he emphasised.

Ighrakpata further charged party faithfuls to talk less and work hard, while taking the party's message to the grassroots.

“Talk less and work hard. Sell all our APC candidates to the masses in order for them to key into the project. Tell them the need to support us. Preach the gospel to your friends and families to see reason to work with our party,” he added.

He specifically advised the ward chairmen to work in synergy for effective delivery in their respective wards, noting that the strength of the party lies at the ward level.

Earlier, the Uvwie LGA APC Chairman, Mr. Sylvester Oghenevwede, noted that the stakeholders' meeting was convened to discuss how Uvwie APC could complement the positive gains of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori.

He stated that Uvwie must put all the necessary mechanisms in place as a matter of urgency to appreciate the governor's efforts by delivering massively for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

A major highlight of the meeting was the unveiling of the Uvwie APC campaign team, with Chief Eyimofe Louis Akemu emerging as the Director-General (DG), alongside other members of the team.

The meeting, which was attended by leaders and stakeholders from the 10 wards of Uvwie LGA, was convened to deliberate on critical issues affecting the party and chart a course for victory in 2027.

Party leaders who spoke at the meeting reaffirmed their commitment to unity and assured the gathering of their readiness to deliver APC 5/5 in their respective wards.
