The Chairman of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service (DSIRS) and National Chairman of the OSU Political Forum, Hon. Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, on Thursday led a large gathering of All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders in Uvwie Local Government Area to reaffirm their commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and mobilise support ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The well-attended Renewed Hope Agenda Stakeholders' Meeting, held in Uvwie Local Government Area, brought together party leaders, chieftains, elected and appointed officials, ward executives, youth and women leaders, and grassroots mobilisers.

Delivering the keynote address, Hon. Ighrakpata described President Tinubu's economic reforms as bold, courageous, and people-oriented, noting that they are laying the foundation for a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria.

"The Renewed Hope Agenda is not just a slogan; it is a blueprint for national rebirth. Yes, the reforms are difficult, but difficult decisions are necessary to reposition our economy, strengthen our security architecture, and improve the welfare of every Nigerian," he said.

He urged residents of Uvwie to remain patient and continue supporting the Federal Government, expressing confidence that the benefits of the ongoing reforms would soon be felt across the country.

Speaking on developments in Delta State, Ighrakpata commended the leadership of Governor Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, stating that the administration's M.O.R.E Agenda is delivering critical infrastructure, creating economic opportunities, and improving the lives of Deltans.

"The M.O.R.E Agenda of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori is perfectly aligned with Mr. President's Renewed Hope Agenda. Delta State must remain in sync with the centre. We must mobilise massively and work tirelessly to ensure victory for all APC candidates in the 2027 elections," he charged.

The DSIRS Chairman also called for unity, discipline, and sustained grassroots mobilisation, stressing that electoral victory would be achieved through effective engagement at the polling-unit level.

"2027 will be won at the polling units, not on social media," he added.

Also addressing the gathering, the Delta State Renewed Hope Coordinator, Rt. Hon. Solomon Funkekeme, commended APC faithful in Uvwie for their steadfast loyalty and resilience, while highlighting key achievements of the Tinubu administration over the past two years.

According to him, the Federal Government has recorded significant milestones in education through the introduction of the Student Loan Scheme, improved national security through increased funding for the armed forces, and accelerated infrastructure development with ongoing road, rail, and energy projects across the country.

"This is Renewed Hope in action. The administration is laying a solid foundation for sustainable economic growth and national development," Funkekeme stated.

He appealed to the people of Uvwie to reward President Tinubu's leadership with overwhelming support in the 2027 general elections.

"Let Uvwie Local Government be counted among those that will deliver one of the highest votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Renewed Hope will bring more development, more empowerment, and greater opportunities to Delta State," he said.

The meeting concluded with a unanimous vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Governor Sheriff Oborevwori, Hon. Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, and the APC leadership in Delta State.

Stakeholders also pledged to intensify grassroots mobilisation by taking the message of the Renewed Hope Agenda to every ward, community, and polling unit across Uvwie Local Government Area in preparation for the 2027 general elections.
