The Executive Chairman of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service (DSIRS) and National Chairman of the OSU Political Forum, Hon. Chief Solomon Ighrakpata, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his victory at the party’s gubernatorial primary election.
Ighrakpata described the Governor’s emergence as a clear reflection of the overwhelming confidence, trust, and acceptance reposed in his leadership by party members and stakeholders across Delta State.
According to him, the victory is well deserved considering Governor Oborevwori’s commitment to good governance, unity, peace, and the continued implementation of the M.O.R.E Agenda, which has continued to positively impact the lives of Deltans across the state.
He noted that although Governor Oborevwori stood as the party’s sole aspirant, the massive turnout of party faithful and stakeholders at the primary election further demonstrated the unity, strength, and solidarity within the party in Delta State.
He added that the enthusiastic participation and support shown during the exercise clearly indicate the confidence Deltans have in the Governor’s administration and leadership style.
Ighrakpata further stated that Governor Oborevwori has continued to provide purposeful, inclusive, and people-oriented governance since assuming office, earning the admiration and support of party members and citizens alike.
He also commended party leaders, delegates, and members for their peaceful conduct and impressive turnout during the primary, urging them to sustain the same level of unity, commitment, and mobilization ahead of the forthcoming general elections.
The Revenue service boss assured Governor Oborevwori of the unwavering support and loyalty of the good people of Uvwie and the entire OSU Federal Constituency, stressing that the Governor’s re-election bid would continue to enjoy massive grassroots backing.
He prayed for God’s wisdom, strength, and guidance upon Governor Oborevwori as he continues to lead Delta State towards greater development, progress, and prosperity.
